IT support and computer repair in Cazenovia, New York.

Cazenovia is a village in the town of Cazenovia, Madison County, ZIP 13035, and it sits 11.6 miles from our office at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville. The drive is one road, NY 92 southeast, about 18 minutes off peak. That puts Cazenovia outside Onondaga County and well inside the half hour ring we work in every week: households around the lake, the village addresses, and the properties strung out along the town roads. A person answers at (315) 682-6372.

Wireless that has to reach a barn, a boathouse or a second building is a survey before it is a purchase. That is smart home and networking.

In short

Express IT Solutions covers Cazenovia, NY 13035 from one office 11.6 miles away at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville, about 18 minutes on NY 92. Cazenovia is a village in the town of Cazenovia, Madison County, and the work here splits between ordinary village repair and wireless coverage across large lakeside parcels with buildings that are not joined to each other. On site, remote, or dropped at the office. Call (315) 682-6372.

Where to find us

Express IT Solutions, 511 East Genesee St, Suite 8A, Fayetteville, NY 13066, (315) 682-6372, help@expresssupport.com. One office, one address, one phone number, and the same one since 2005.

The demand mix

What the work in Cazenovia actually looks like

Two kinds of call come out of 13035, and they want different answers. One of them is the same work we do four miles from the office. The other is the reason this page exists.

Village work

A house or a small office on the streets around the village centre. A normal sized building, a good connection, and a job with edges: a laptop that will not start, a printer that stopped talking to the network, an email account somebody else got into, a machine that has to be replaced with the data intact.

Property work

Cazenovia Lake runs about 3.9 miles long and roughly half a mile wide, and the parcels around it carry buildings that are not attached to each other. A detached garage, a barn, a boathouse, an office over the garage. One router in a hallway does not cover that, and the usual fix, a bigger router, does not either.

Small office work

For a business in the village the list is the ordinary one and it is the ordinary one that fails: Microsoft 365, a backup nobody has ever restored from, a firewall configured once and never revisited, and a phone system that has to keep working when the copper does not.

In store and remote as well

Not everything needs a van. A machine can be dropped at the office in Fayetteville and collected, and a remote session fixes anything that lives in software. For an address 18 minutes away, the drop off is often the cheapest of the three routes and nobody ever offers it.

What covers a spread out property is a wired run to each building and access points placed where the walls actually are, not where the socket happens to be. That is a design job with a survey in front of it, which is why smart home and networking is the first link on this page rather than the fourth.

Getting there, and getting online

The drive is NY 92 southeast out of Fayetteville, and it is the same road at both ends, so there is no highway and nothing to miss. Google Maps puts it at 11.6 miles and about 18 minutes off peak, queried on 17 August 2026. Straight line, which is what a map pin measures, the two points are 10.4 miles apart.

The connection picture is the part worth reading before you buy anything. On the FCC National Broadband Map, using data as of 31 December 2025, 74.1 percent of residential units inside Cazenovia village can get fibre at 100 Mbps down and 20 up, and 75.5 percent can reach a gigabit class service. Across Madison County as a whole those two figures fall to 26.8 and 29.5 percent.

So the village is one of the better connected places in its county and the land outside it is not, and the line between the two is close enough to matter. Inside the village, cloud backup and a hosted phone system are straightforward. Out along the town roads, ask what the upload speed is at that parcel before anybody sells you either.

How far do you travel, and where is the office?

We work on site across all of Upstate New York, from our one office at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville. Clients who run more than one office are covered at every location, and where a location is far enough that driving does not make sense, that includes travel by air. Travel is planned and agreed with you in advance rather than appearing on an invoice afterwards. Express IT Solutions keeps no offices outside New York State.

What does it cost?

No figures live on this page, because a figure without a scope is a guess. What is published sits in three places: managed IT pricing for a business on a monthly plan, home computer rates for household work, and booking when you already know what you need and want it in the diary. Anything outside those is quoted in writing before it starts.

What gets asked for here

The work Cazenovia actually calls about

Four pages rather than a list of everything we own a screwdriver for. On a Cazenovia address the order matters: coverage first, because that is what the parcels here make hard, then the ordinary repair work, then the business side.

Smart home and networking

Whole property Wi-Fi, wired runs between buildings, cameras and access points placed after a survey rather than guessed at.

Residential IT and computer repair

Hardware repair, screen repair, system upgrades, virus and malware removal, data transfer to a new machine, and training if you want it.

Business IT services

Defined jobs for the village offices: a migration, a server that has to be replaced, a security clean up, or a second opinion on somebody else’s quote.

Managed IT services

The flat monthly version, when you would rather the whole estate was somebody else’s standing problem instead of a series of calls.

Everywhere else we work is listed on service areas. If the fault is software rather than cable, remote support saves everybody the NY 92 round trip.

Why us

Over 21 years, one company, one address.

Most of what goes wrong with an IT supplier is not technical. It is that the company changed hands, the person who knew your setup left, or the number now reaches somebody four states away who has to read your file before they can speak.

Questions

What people in Cazenovia ask before they call

Do you actually come out to Cazenovia, or is it remote only?

We come out. Cazenovia is 11.6 miles from the office and the drive is about 18 minutes on NY 92, which is inside the ring we cover on an ordinary working day. Remote is offered first only when it will genuinely fix the thing sooner, because a remote session starts in minutes and a van does not. If the problem is a cable, a device, or anything you can point at, it is an on site job and we will say so.

Cazenovia is in Madison County. Does that change anything?

Not for the work and not for the drive. It changes paperwork rather than technology: county filings, county level records and some service boundaries sit with Madison County rather than Onondaga. Our office is in Onondaga County and our on site coverage is all of Upstate New York, so a county line is not somewhere we stop.

Can you get Wi-Fi to a barn, a boathouse or a detached garage?

Usually, and not with a bigger router. Coverage across separate buildings is a cabling and placement problem: a wired run or a purpose built link out to the second building, then an access point inside it. We survey first, so you are told what the building and the ground will actually allow before anything is ordered.

Nearby

Cazenovia sits at the far end of the eastern run. These are the two pages either side of it on the same roads.

Chittenango

Seven miles north west and the other Madison County village on this site, straight along NY 5.

Manlius

Back up NY 92 towards the office, the next village along the same road.

A wall mounted equipment rack on one of our own installations: a gateway, two PoE switches and a rack power distribution unit, with patch cables dressed and run to a labelled Cat 6 keystone above.
One of our own installations. Cabling and labelling are the parts nobody sees and everybody pays for later, so they are worth doing once, properly.
The office

One address, and you can come to it.

511 East Genesee St, Suite 8A, Fayetteville, NY 13066. Straight back up NY 92 and about 18 minutes from the village. Machines can be dropped off and collected, and the map at the bottom of every page on this site points at the same door.

TELL US WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT IS WRONG

Describe it in your own words.

The street or the road you are on, what stopped working, and whether it is a house, a home office or a business. That is enough for us to tell you whether it is a remote fix, a drop off, or a visit.

  • It goes to our office in Fayetteville, not a call centre.
  • You are told whether a visit is even the right answer.
  • If it is not worth doing, we will tell you that too.
Three fields, plus one box if you want to explain. It goes to our office in Fayetteville.
So we can call you back about this.
A sentence is plenty. Rough is fine, we will ask the rest on the call.

We use this to reply to you and nothing else. No list, no sharing, no follow up you did not ask for.

If something is down right now, call instead

A form waits for someone to read it. An outage does not wait for anything, so if your office is off the air, pick up the phone. That is faster and it costs you less of the day.

The form is the better route for a job with a date on it, a quote to look over, or anything you would rather write down than explain.

One call, no obligation

Tell us what has stopped working.

Call, or ask for a site visit if the job is a property rather than a machine. One phone call and you will know whether it is a remote session, a machine that should come to the office, or a visit, and roughly what shape the work takes.

Free first call. We will tell you straight if the answer is that it is not worth doing.
