In short

Clay is a town in Onondaga County north of Syracuse, the most populous suburb of the city with 60,527 people at the 2020 Census. It holds the hamlets of Bayberry, Euclid, Moyers Corners and Clay, the western half of North Syracuse village, and the site where Micron broke ground in January 2026. NY 31 crosses it and NY 481 meets NY 31 west of Euclid; the Oneida River is its northern line and the Seneca River its western one. The town hall is 16.1 road miles from our downtown office and 19.8 from Fayetteville. Call (315) 682-6372.

Three ways to get help

Walk in, we come to you, or we fix it remotely

One phone call sorts out which of the three fits the job in Clay. Whichever it is, the price is in writing before anything is ordered or started.

Walk in

Bring it to the store in Fayetteville

511 East Genesee St, Suite 8A, Monday to Friday, 9 to 6. The store is in Fayetteville, 19.8 road miles by I-81 and NY 5. For Clay a visit or a remote session usually comes first; the store is the right place for a bench job.

Flat rates and booking

On site

A technician at your Clay address

A technician comes to your Clay address from the downtown office, 16.1 road miles to the town hall by I-81 and NY 31, whether that address says Clay, Liverpool or North Syracuse on the envelope.

On site computer repair and support

Remote

Fixed in a secure remote session

If the machine still starts and can get online, most software faults, email problems and slow machines are handled without anybody driving, and a session starts sooner than a van does.

How remote support works

What is different about IT work in Clay?

Scale. Clay has more people than any other place on this site except the city, spread across a town with no single centre, so the work arrives from everywhere at once: a clinic on NY 31, a contractor in Moyers Corners, a family in Bayberry, a warehouse near the NY 481 junction. The Liverpool and North Syracuse school districts both reach into the town, and the mailing addresses do not match the municipality, which is why a Clay household often calls from a Liverpool or North Syracuse ZIP. None of that changes the job. It changes which office the technician starts from, and the honest answer is usually downtown.

Then there is Micron. The company broke ground on its first New York fab in the town of Clay in January 2026, with the first facility planned to open in 2030 and four fabs built out over the following decade, and in June 2026 it named Bechtel to engineer and build the first phase. We do not work for Micron and this page does not say we do. What a build of that size does is bring contractors, suppliers and professional offices into a town that did not have them, often into leased space or site trailers that need a network, phones, a printer and a secure way to reach head office within days of the lease being signed. That is a scope and a figure before anything is ordered, and it is the work our Micron page describes.

The households are the same households as everywhere else, and the same rule applies: a machine that will not start or needs a part is faster on the bench in Fayetteville than on a kitchen table, and anything about the building, Wi-Fi, cameras, a printer nobody can find, is a visit.

Who calls from Clay, and what the first step usually is.
The addressThe usual first step
An office or clinic on NY 31A visit to look at the network, then a written figure
A contractor or supplier setting up near the Micron siteA site visit, a scope, and a network before the staff arrive
A house in Bayberry, Euclid or Moyers CornersBring the machine to Fayetteville, or a remote session if it boots
A warehouse near the NY 481 junctionA visit, because access and cabling decide the job
A small equipment rack holding a gateway, two PoE switches and a rack power distribution unit, with Cat 6 patch cables dressed down into a punch down panel above.
A small business rack on one of our own installations. The same build fits a leased suite in Clay, a site trailer near the Micron fence or a back office on NY 31.

Getting to Clay, and which office the drive starts from

Clay is north of the city, so the drive starts downtown. From 120 Madison St the town hall at 4401 State Route 31 is 16.1 road miles: US 11 out of downtown, I-81 north and NY 31 west. From the Fayetteville office it is 19.8 miles, NY 5 to I-81 and the same road north. Neither is a long trip, but the downtown office is the nearer base for the whole north side and that is the one a visit is usually planned from.

Because the town is large and has no single centre, the road distance to a particular address can be a good deal less than the figure to the town hall. Bayberry, on the Liverpool side of the town, is a Liverpool mailing address and a short run from the city; the hamlet of Clay, up toward the Oneida River, is further. Tell us the address rather than the town and you get a straight answer about the trip.

The bench, the parts and the showroom are in Fayetteville, so a machine that needs a part still ends up there. For a Clay household that usually means dropping it off on the way past, since I-81 and NY 5 make the run straightforward, or letting a technician collect it on a visit that was happening anyway.

Public Google reviews

What clients say, word for word

4.9 from 155 public Google reviews, on a profile nobody here can edit. Two of them, exactly as the reviewers published them.

Great team of expert technicians. Quick to understand your computer problem, proficient in their analysis of the situation, and rapid in their response. They are my go-to team in resolving any of my computer-related problems.

Dean Dickinson, public Google review

I have always had good experiences with this team. They listen to the problem and take the time to go over it with you if you need or want them to. Very good experience and reasonable.

Sue Kazel, public Google review

What does it cost?

No figure is published on this page, because the honest number depends on what the work turns out to be. The rates and the plans live on three pages and nowhere else: managed IT pricing, home IT rates, and the flat rate and hourly rate card on the booking page. Read those before you call and the call gets shorter. If a job in Clay turns out not to be worth doing, that is a thing we will say out loud rather than quote for. Asked in Clay

Five questions Clay asks first

My mailing address says Liverpool or North Syracuse. Is that still Clay?

Often, yes. The town of Clay uses several ZIP codes, including 13041 for Clay, 13090 on the Liverpool side, 13212 for North Syracuse and 13027, 13029 and 13088 at its edges, so a Liverpool or North Syracuse mailing address is frequently inside the town. It makes no difference to the service. Give us the street address and you get a straight answer about the trip.

Do you work for Micron?

No, and we do not claim to. Micron broke ground on its first New York fab in Clay in January 2026 and named Bechtel to build the first phase in June 2026. What we do is set up the offices, leased suites and site trailers of the contractors, suppliers and professional firms arriving around the project: network, phones, printers and a secure connection back to head office, scoped and priced before anything is ordered.

Which of your offices is closer to Clay?

Downtown. Our office at 120 Madison St, Suite 1000 in Syracuse is 16.1 road miles from Clay town hall on NY 31, by US 11 and I-81 north. The Fayetteville office at 511 East Genesee St is 19.8 miles by NY 5 and I-81. Clay is a large town, so an address on the Liverpool side is a good deal closer than the town hall figure.

Is it quicker to bring a computer in or have you come out?

For one machine that will not start, needs a part or has slowed down, bring it to the bench at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville, or let a technician collect it on a visit. For anything about the building, Wi-Fi, cabling, printers, cameras or a server, the visit is the right call. If the machine still boots and the problem is software or accounts, ask for a remote session first.

Do you charge extra to come out to Clay?

No figure is printed on this page, because what a visit involves depends on the work rather than the town. Clay is within 50 miles of Syracuse, which we cover with no questions asked. The published rates sit on the booking page, the home IT pricing page and the managed IT pricing page, and for anything quoted you get the figure in writing before anything is ordered or started.

The towns and villages around Clay

Clay borders Salina, Cicero and Lysander, so three places on this site touch its line, and the village it shares with Cicero has a page of its own.

  • North Syracuse. The village that lies half in Clay and half in Cicero, on US 11, with I-81 along its east side.
  • Liverpool. A village in the town of Salina on the south side of Clay, whose ZIP codes reach well into the town.
  • Baldwinsville. A village across the Seneca River to the west, in the towns of Lysander and Van Buren.

Every town this office covers is listed on the service areas page, nearest first. What clients say about the work is on the reviews page.

Where are the offices, and how far do you travel?

We work on site across all of Upstate New York, from our offices at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville and 120 Madison St, Suite 1000 in downtown Syracuse. Clients who run more than one office are covered at every location, and where a location is far enough that driving does not make sense, that includes travel by air.
