IT support and computer repair in Minoa, New York.

Minoa is a village in the town of Manlius, Onondaga County, ZIP 13116, and it is the closest place on this site to our office. Google Maps puts the drive at 4.0 miles and about eight minutes, north on NY 257, which becomes North Manlius Street. Fayetteville, Manlius and Minoa are three separate villages inside one town, so a technician working in any of them is already in the same town as the other two. A person answers at (315) 682-6372.

Eight minutes is short enough that dropping a machine at the office and collecting it later is a real option. That is on site and in store repair.

In short

Express IT Solutions covers Minoa, NY 13116 from one office 4.0 miles away at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville, about eight minutes on NY 257. Minoa is the third village of the town of Manlius, and the connection here is cable rather than fibre, which makes upload speed the thing that decides what backup and cloud work will actually do. On site, remote, or dropped at the office. Call (315) 682-6372.

Where to find us

Express IT Solutions, 511 East Genesee St, Suite 8A, Fayetteville, NY 13066, (315) 682-6372, help@expresssupport.com. One office, one address, one phone number, and the same one since 2005.

The demand mix

What the work in Minoa actually looks like

Minoa sits on the north side of the town of Manlius, which faces East Syracuse rather than the residential village streets that Fayetteville and Manlius share. The school district is the visible version of that split.

Same town, different district

Fayetteville and Manlius villages are Fayetteville-Manlius School District, run from 8199 East Seneca Turnpike. Minoa is East Syracuse Minoa Central School District, run from 407 Fremont Rd in East Syracuse. One town, two districts, and it is the clearest sign that Minoa faces a different direction from the other two villages.

Household work

The larger half of the calls. A machine that will not start, a phone or tablet screen, data moved off a drive that has begun to click, a home network that stopped covering the upstairs, a new computer that needs everything from the old one on it.

Small commercial work

The other half is the sort of address with a handful of machines, a printer everybody depends on, and a connection nobody has looked at since the day it was installed. Small enough that nobody is employed to watch it, big enough that a day off the air costs real money.

Drop off and collect

Four miles is the shortest run on this site, which changes what is worth doing. A machine can come to the office in Fayetteville and go home the same week without the trip being an event, and a remote session fixes the software faults without anybody driving at all.

The advantage of eight minutes is unglamorous and real. It is short enough that a machine can come to the office in Fayetteville and go back the same week without the trip being an event, and short enough that an on site visit does not have to be scheduled around half a day of travel.

Getting there, and getting online

The route is north out of Fayetteville on NY 257, which becomes North Manlius Street: 4.0 miles and about eight minutes off peak by Google Maps, queried on 17 August 2026. There is a second way in through North Burdick Street at 5.4 miles, which only matters when something on the first one is closed. Straight line the two points are 3.0 miles apart.

The connection story here is the opposite of the one in the lake villages, and it is worth knowing before you plan a backup. On the FCC National Broadband Map, with data as of 31 December 2025, 97.2 percent of residential units in Minoa village can get cable at 100 Mbps down and 20 up, so almost nobody in the village is short of download speed. Fibre is a different matter at 25.3 percent, and only 1.5 percent of units can reach a gigabit class service. Across Onondaga County as a whole fibre reaches 70.1 percent.

That gap has one practical consequence and it catches people out. Cable gives you a fast download and a much smaller upload, so anything that pushes data out of the building, a cloud backup, a camera system, a large file going to a client, is limited by the smaller number and not the one on the bill. Size the backup window against the upload, and test a restore before you rely on it.

How far do you travel, and where is the office?

We work on site across all of Upstate New York, from our one office at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville. Clients who run more than one office are covered at every location, and where a location is far enough that driving does not make sense, that includes travel by air. Travel is planned and agreed with you in advance rather than appearing on an invoice afterwards. Express IT Solutions keeps no offices outside New York State.

What does it cost?

No figures live on this page, because a figure without a scope is a guess. What is published sits in three places: managed IT pricing for a business on a monthly plan, home computer rates for household work, and booking when you already know what you need and want it in the diary. Anything outside those is quoted in writing before it starts.

What gets asked for here

The work Minoa actually calls about

Four pages rather than a list of everything we own a screwdriver for. Minoa is close enough that the choice between a visit, a drop off and a remote session is a real choice rather than a formality, and these are the four that get asked for.

On site and in store repair

Hardware repair, screen repair, system upgrades, virus and malware removal, and new computer setup, at your place or at ours.

Data recovery

For the drive that started clicking a fortnight before anybody mentioned it, and for the machine that will not boot at all.

Business IT services

Defined work for the commercial addresses: a network that needs rebuilding, a migration, a server replacement, a security clean up.

Everywhere else we work is listed on service areas, and remote support is usually quicker than either of us getting in a car for eight minutes.

Why us

Over 21 years, one company, one address.

Most of what goes wrong with an IT supplier is not technical. It is that the company changed hands, the person who knew your setup left, or the number now reaches somebody four states away who has to read your file before they can speak.

Questions

What people in Minoa ask before they call

How quickly can somebody get to Minoa?

The drive is 4.0 miles and about eight minutes off peak, north on NY 257. That is the shortest run of any town page on this site, so scheduling is usually the constraint rather than travel. If the fault can be fixed in a remote session we will say so rather than sell you a visit, because a session starts sooner than a van does.

Is Minoa the same as Manlius?

They are two different villages inside one town. The town of Manlius contains three incorporated villages, Fayetteville, Manlius and Minoa, and each has its own village government. Minoa is also in a different school district, East Syracuse Minoa, from the other two. For us it is one town and one drive. For you it means a Minoa address is not a Manlius address, which matters when a supplier asks.

My download is fast but uploads crawl. Is that normal here?

It is normal on cable, and cable is what most of Minoa has. FCC figures for 31 December 2025 show 97.2 percent of village units served at 100 down and 20 up, while only 25.3 percent can get fibre. A backup, a camera feed or a large file going out all sit on the smaller upload number. The fix is usually scheduling and compression rather than a new provider, and it is worth measuring before anybody sells you an upgrade.

TELL US WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT IS WRONG

Describe it in your own words.

The street or the road you are on, what stopped working, and whether it is a house, a home office or a business. That is enough for us to tell you whether it is a remote fix, a drop off, or a visit.

  • It goes to our office in Fayetteville, not a call centre.
  • You are told whether a visit is even the right answer.
  • If it is not worth doing, we will tell you that too.
Three fields, plus one box if you want to explain. It goes to our office in Fayetteville.
So we can call you back about this.
A sentence is plenty. Rough is fine, we will ask the rest on the call.

We use this to reply to you and nothing else. No list, no sharing, no follow up you did not ask for.

If something is down right now, call instead

A form waits for someone to read it. An outage does not wait for anything, so if your office is off the air, pick up the phone. That is faster and it costs you less of the day.

The form is the better route for a job with a date on it, a quote to look over, or anything you would rather write down than explain.

One call, no obligation

Tell us what has stopped working.

Call, or book a visit if you already know what the job is. One phone call and you will know whether it is a remote session, a machine that should come to the office, or a visit, and roughly what shape the work takes.

Free first call. We will tell you straight if the answer is that it is not worth doing.
