The short version

What does Express IT Solutions do?

In short

Express IT Solutions is a Fayetteville, New York IT firm, in business since 2005. We do three things. We run managed IT for businesses, a flat monthly fee covering helpdesk, monitoring, security and backups. We handle one off work, computer repair, data recovery, networks, phones and websites. And we build AI agents that answer calls, route work and automate the parts of a job nobody wants to do. On site across all of Upstate New York, and at every location our multi site clients run.

Route one

Managed IT and business support

We take over your technology and run it for a flat monthly fee. Helpdesk, patching, monitoring, security, backups, vendors and planning, handled by one local team instead of whoever is free.

Best if you have staff, more than a handful of computers, and IT keeps interrupting the actual work.

Start with managed IT
Route two

One off repair and projects

Something is broken, or something needs building once. No plan, no commitment. We book a visit, do the job, and you pay for that job. Homes and businesses both.

Best if you have one problem right now, or one project with an end date.

Book a visit
Route three

AI agents and automation

Software that does a job, not a chatbot bolted onto a website. Agents that answer the phone, qualify a lead, book the work and follow up, wired into the systems you already use.

Best if people are spending hours a week on repetitive phone, email or scheduling work.

What is managed IT?

Managed IT means one firm runs your technology for a flat monthly fee instead of billing you by the hour when something breaks. We watch your servers, network and computers, patch them, back them up, keep security current and answer the helpdesk. You get a predictable bill and one number to call. The alternative, paying hourly, only pays us when things go wrong, which is a strange incentive for both of us.

How the two commercial models differ. Figures live on the pricing pages, not here.

Do you work with home users as well as businesses?

Yes, both. We started in 2005 repairing computers for homes and small offices in Central New York, and we still do that work. Home jobs are billed by the visit rather than monthly: virus and malware cleanup, slow machines, data recovery, printer trouble, new computer setup, home Wi-Fi that drops in half the house, and full smart home and network installs. Same technicians, same phone number, same on site coverage.

  • Home computer repair. The everyday stuff, at your house or ours. Residential IT and repair
  • Smart home and home networking. Wi-Fi that reaches the whole house, wired runs, cameras. Smart home installs
  • Data recovery. The drive that stopped mounting, with the only copy of the photos on it. Data recovery

What areas do you cover?

On site, all of Upstate New York. We are based at 511 East Genesee St in Fayetteville, and the towns we are in constantly are Syracuse, Baldwinsville, Cazenovia, Chittenango, Jamesville, Lafayette, Liverpool, Manlius, Minoa and Tully, plus everywhere in between. If you run more than one office, you get the same team at every one of them: every location supported remotely from Fayetteville on one standard, and on site when a site needs hands on it, including the locations we fly to. Travel is planned and agreed with you before anything is booked, and we keep no offices outside New York State. The service areas page maps the coverage town by town, with distances from our door.

How do I choose between the three?

Start with the shape of the problem, not the technology. If your business has more than a handful of computers and IT keeps interrupting the work, you want managed IT. If one thing is broken right now, or you have a single project with an end date, book a visit and pay for that job. If people are spending hours on repetitive phone, email or scheduling work, look at AI agents. If you are not sure, call us and we will say which one, including none.

Why us

Why work with us rather than the next IT company?

Four things, all of which you can check yourself before you call.

  • Over 21 years, one continuous team. Express IT Solutions was filed with New York State on May 13, 2005, as Express Computer Service. Same owner since. Our story
  • On site across Upstate New York. Not a call centre and not a franchise. We drive to you anywhere in the region, and if you run more than one office we go to the other locations too, including the ones we fly to.
  • We build the software, not just recommend it. Two production systems of our own run on the public internet right now, and you can go use them.
  • 4.9 from 154 reviews on Google and Trustindex, verified August 2026. The live count moves, so the current one is on our reviews page, pulled from Google and Trustindex.
Software we built and run
PlowzBox An on premises AI office manager for landscaping companies. It answers missed calls, texts back and books jobs, on hardware the customer owns. plowzbox.com
CNY Signal Live Syracuse police, fire and EMS alerts, transcribed from radio in real time, with weather, road and power outage feeds. cnysignal.com

Both designed, built and operated by Express IT Solutions. Most IT firms recommend software. We also ship it, which is why we will tell you when an AI project is not worth doing.

Questions

What people ask before they call

What services does Express IT Solutions offer?

Three groups. Managed IT for businesses, which is a flat monthly fee to run your helpdesk, monitoring, security and backups. One off work for homes and businesses, which covers computer repair, data recovery, hardware, phone systems, networks and smart home installs. And AI, which covers consulting, readiness assessments and custom AI agents that we build and then operate.

Do you charge by the hour or by the month?

Both, depending on which one suits you. Managed IT clients pay a flat monthly fee that covers the agreed scope. Everyone else pays for the visit or the project, with no plan and no commitment. We will tell you which is cheaper for your situation rather than steering you at the bigger number.

Do you come on site, or is everything remote?

Both. Plenty gets solved remotely because it is faster for you, and we come out when the job needs hands on it. On site we cover all of Upstate New York, and the towns we are in constantly are Syracuse, Fayetteville, Baldwinsville, Cazenovia, Chittenango, Jamesville, Lafayette, Liverpool, Manlius, Minoa and Tully. If you run more than one office we cover every location you have, including the ones we fly to, with travel planned and agreed before anything is booked.

Can you help with one problem instead of a monthly plan?

Yes. Most people meet us that way. Book a visit, we fix the thing, you pay for that job and nothing else. If it turns out the same thing keeps happening we will say so, and then you can decide whether a monthly plan is worth it. We are not going to pretend one repair needs a contract.

Do you build the AI agents yourselves?

Yes. We design, build and operate them, and we run two production systems of our own on the public internet, PlowzBox and CNY Signal. That matters because an agent sits on your data, so the question of who built it and who can see it is not a small one. We will also tell you when a workflow is not worth automating.

How do I get started?

Call (315) 682-6372 and a person in Fayetteville answers, or book a visit online and pick a time. Tell us what is happening in plain language. We will say which of the three routes fits, what it would involve, and what it would cost, and if the answer is that you do not need us yet, we will say that too.

TELL US WHAT IS WRONG

Tell us what is not working.

One machine or the whole setup, describe it in your own words. We will tell you what we would do about it.

  • It goes to our office in Fayetteville, not a call centre.
  • We will tell you straight if there is a cheaper way to fix it.
  • No revenue question, no budget question, no qualification hoops.
So we can call you back about this.
A sentence is plenty. Rough is fine, we will ask the rest on the call.

We use this to reply to you and nothing else. No list, no sharing, no follow up you did not ask for.

Or just call

That line reaches a person who knows the work. If you want an answer now instead of later today, calling is faster, and we would rather say that than pretend the form is.

The form is the better route if you would rather write it down than say it out loud, or you are somewhere you cannot take a call.

(315) 682-6372
Talk to a person

Tell us what is going on and we will point you at the right one.

You do not have to know whether it is a managed IT problem, a repair, or something an agent should be doing. Describe it in normal words. That is the whole first conversation.

No obligation, no hard sell. If you do not need us, we will tell you that instead.
